Dissemination is key part of the current Darwin project but it can only take this so far as the main focus is on research. New initiatives will be needed to transfer the results of this project into practice. The Agrobiodiversity Working Group has become the forum for the dissemination of the results of the project amongst those organisations interested in sustainable farming.

Amongst its members, it includes the main government and non-governmental organisations that are responsible for advising farmers. The working group has taken on the production of the handbook that can be used by extension workers to advise farmers on best practice. This is one of the last outputs of the project.

While examples of best practice are being compiled, posters have been produced in Luganda and English to advise farmers on the practices that have been identified from this project and the literature as being most beneficial to birds and pollinators. These have been distributed across the study sites
